Privacy notice
Updated: 25 August 2026
DiceDigest is an independent editorial desk that publishes notes on board and turn-based mobile games at dicedigest.com. This notice explains, in plain terms, what happens to information when you read a page here. It is written under the General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the ePrivacy Regulations 2011 (S.I. 336/2011).
What the site collects from you
Nothing through the page itself. Every page is static: text, stylesheets, a small script and images. There is no form, no field to type into, no account, no comment section and no newsletter. The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, tag manager or advertising script, so there is no profile of you to build, share or sell.
What happens technically when a page loads
Delivering a page still means a request reaches a server. The hosting provider keeps ordinary technical logs, and Cloudflare acts as a content delivery network and processor in front of the site. In that role the following may be handled: the address of the page requested, the referring address if your browser sends one, performance measurements for the page, the type of device and browser, and the country derived from your IP address. This handling is limited to keeping the site available, fast and protected against abuse, which is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare may add a performance beacon of its own to pages it serves; it reports page timings and sets no cookie.
Records of that kind are short-lived and kept to the retention periods of the hosting and network providers. They are not combined with anything else, because there is nothing else to combine them with.
If you write to us
Email is the only way to reach the desk: table@dicedigest.com. A message you send travels through your own mail provider and arrives with ours, and it will contain whatever you choose to put in it, including your address. Correspondence is kept only as long as it takes to answer, and a little longer where a correction has been made to an entry and we want a record of why. It is never used to contact you about anything else.
Who else is involved
Only the providers named above: the hosting company that stores the files and Cloudflare, which delivers them. Nothing on the page is loaded from a third-party font service, video platform, advertising network or social network. Links to Google Play open a service run by Google LLC, which has its own privacy terms; once you follow such a link, you are reading a Google page and not this one.
Your rights
Where any information relating to you is handled, the GDPR gives you the right to ask for access to it, to have it corrected or erased, to have its handling restricted, to object to handling based on legitimate interest and, in some circumstances, to receive it in a portable form. Because the site collects nothing that identifies you, a request will usually be answered by explaining that there is no record to produce. Write to table@dicedigest.com and the request will be dealt with within one month.
If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland, or through dataprotection.ie.
Children
This is a reading resource for people choosing what to install. It is not aimed at children, and since no information is collected through the page, none is collected from a child either.
Changes to this notice
If the way the site is delivered changes, this page is rewritten and the date at the top is moved forward. There is no archive of earlier versions; the current text is the one that applies.
